So far, my schedule for this season of baseball looks like this:
August 19th or somewhere around that: Detroit Tigers vs Cleveland Indians @ Detroit.
August 22nd or somewhere around that: Midland Loons (AA) vs WM (who the heck is that?) In Midland, Michigan.
September 2nd: Baltimore Orioles vs Boston Red Sox @ Baltimore
I’m totally psyched. It’ll add 3 more stadiums to my resume.
Rogers Centre (Toronto Blue Jays): 2 Visits
Frontier Field (Rochester Red Wings) 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 visits
Camden Yards (Orioles) Yet to be visited
Comerica Park (Tigers) YTBV
Dow Diamond (Midland Loons) YTBV
I love going to AAA games, but there’s no BP, only pregame throwing. I have gotten the majority of my balls from pre-game, so I’m not complaining.
My one big fear is Camden Yards and the no-season-ticket-rule. If I don’t have a season ticket, I can’t get into the LF Seats for the first HALF-HOUR of BP! GARRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!
Comerica park should be fun, though. I just hate how the gates open only an hour and a half before game time.
I’m thinking about going for a Miguel Cabrerra HR, so I might go to LF for him.
No plans for Camden or Dow Diamond yet.
